Aftercare

Follow these tips to keep extensions in good condition and make them last longer:

Keep Them Dry
For the first 24-48 hours after your lash appointment, avoid getting your lashes wet. This allows the adhesive to fully bond. Afterward, it's safe to get them wet, but try to minimize direct water contact with the lashes.

Gentle Cleansing
Clean your lashes regularly with a lash extension-friendly cleanser. Use a gentle touch, and avoid any oil-based products, as they can weaken the adhesive.

Brush Daily
Use a clean, spoolie brush to comb through your lashes daily. This helps prevent tangling and maintains their shape.

No Mascara Needed
One of the benefits of eyelash extensions is that you typically don't need mascara. Avoid mascara containing oil, and if you must use mascara, choose a water-based and extension-friendly formula.

Avoid Rubbing or Pulling
Be mindful of rubbing your eyes or pulling on your lashes. This can damage both your natural lashes and the extensions.

Sleeping Position
Try to sleep on your back or with your face off the pillow to prevent your lashes from getting crushed. A silk pillowcase is also recommended.

Regular Fills
Eyelash extensions naturally shed with your natural lashes' growth cycle. To keep them looking full, schedule regular fills every 2-3 weeks.

Protect from Heat and Steam
Avoid exposing your lashes to excessive heat, such as saunas or direct heat from hair dryers. Steam can also weaken the adhesive, so be cautious. Heat applied on the lashes is the fastest way to lose the curl.

Choose a Licensed Technician
Always opt for a certified and licensed technician who has had advanced training. This ensures a safe and professional application while maintaining the integrity of your natural eyelashes.

Remember, proper care is essential to maintain the longevity and beauty of your eyelash extensions. By following these tips and being diligent in your lash care routine, you can enjoy stunning, long-lasting lashes.
